Nominated as entrepreneur in the category 'sustainable business'

A while ago, I uploaded my profile to De Gentse Ondernemer, a contest to select role models for entrepreneurs in Ghent. There are different categories: the technical entrepreneur, the creative entrepreneur, the student entrepreneur,...
I assumed that I made a chance to be selected as technical entrepreneur, but I was very happy when I received a mail saying: Congratulations, you've been selected as one of the nominees in the category 'sustainable business.'

It's really an honor to receive this nomination. I now have to write a short essay explaining our mission statement, which is to enable a paperless world, pushing the limits of digital document interactivity.
I also have to explain the importance of Ghent for our companies. Sure, after our visit to California, we know that Silicon Valley is the place to be for IT companies, but it also made us realize that a city such as Ghent also has important assets to help us create a worldwide business: we have Ghent University, IBBT, Flanders Investment & Trade,... that make Ghent an interesting place to bootstrap your business.
On February 15 I'll know if I'm selected as one of the final three nominees. I'll keep you posted!
