Bruno Lowagie's Online Gazette

It's no longer possible to register for an account on Bruno Lowagie's Online Gazette. Removing SPAM was getting too labour intensive for me. Even with a Captcha, many accounts were created with the sole purpose to put SPAM messages in the comment sections of my blogs. I used to manually remove accounts with names such as 'cialis promo', and I used to approve names that sounded normal, such as Alfred Alston or Kumar Praveen or... I will no longer do that because SPAMmers started using normal names too.

For those who really want an account on this site:

I'll create your account manually if you contact me through one of the appropriate channels. That can be LinkedIn if you know me professionally (but don't abuse my LinkedIn account for asking questions about iText), Facebook if you know me personally, Google if you know of me, or mail if you don't know me at all, but were able to find my e-mail address.

Note that you need a good reason to get an account. I used to put ads on this site, and you could register if you didn't want to see those ads, but I decided to drop the ads altogether which means that you now have do an effort and justify why you need an account on my blog.
